Ghostly Winterscape

It’s been a cold and very windy week here in Juneau, with the trees in the high alpine areas getting really pounded by wind and drifting snow. The ghostly, silent appearance of the trees is even more pronounced at this time of the year.

Thanks to all of you who came to my presentations last night. What an amazing turnout it was! And thanks to Lori Craig and the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center for hosting me.
