One of my Wild Alaska Travel guests from Australia fulfilled her dream yesterday, to mush a team of Iditarod dogs with the expert advice of Vern Halter, one of the most experienced long-distance mushers in Alaska. These are not Iditarod sled dogs but a couple of wolves sharing a tender moment. Our Wild Alaska Travel group was lucky to catch a glimpse into their highly developed social structure.
