Mendenhall Lake Iceberg

Undeterred by the rain, Florian and I went for a spin in the seakayak at Mendenhall Lake yesterday. Recent calving events discharged more ice into the lake, and it seems that the cavity on the east side of the terminus got larger, exposing an enormous waterfall. Here, the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center is dwarfed by a huge iceberg floating near Nugget Falls.
