Sailboat Cruising Down Gastineau Channel

undefined

I have seen this little sailboat numerous times north of Douglas Island earlier this spring, and rarely with its sails down. What caught my eye looking from my vantage point on the Juneau-Douglas bridge were the unusual patterns created by the sun reflecting off Gastineau Channel. When I looked at my files, I noticed that the effect I was looking for had been somewhat been distorted by a digital artifact, which essentially is an undesired alteration in data introduced in a digital process by an involved technique.
