Strange Things Happen Under The Mid-Winter Sun…

‘Strange things happen under the midnight sun’. That’s one of the lines in Robert Service’s famous poem ‘The cremation of Sam McGee’. Well, strange things happening under the mid-winter sun as well! This picture is proof of it. Juneau residents Jarrett Thomas, Sam Buck, and Dylan Wenzlau, from left to right, perform a simultaneous backflip at sunset after taking off a ramp on Douglas Island. I would definitely not recommend this move to any beginners. The backflip is an advanced skiing/snowboarding trick that involves performing a backward somersault. Before trying it out in the snow, I would recommend perfecting it at the pool or on a trampoline.
