Can Lance Mackey Win The Yukon Quest And The Iditarod Back to Back One More Time?

Lance Mackey has won the 1,000 mile Yukon Quest International Sled Dog Race and the 1,000 mile Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race four times. In 2007 and 2008, he did what was previously thought to be impossible, he won both the Yukon Quest and Iditarod in the same year and within two weeks of each other. Can he do it again in 2013? Notice in this picture how Mackey uses a trail marker to replace a lost ski pole to help push his team towards the finish line during the 2012 Iditarod.
